Retirement comes with new and exciting opportunities. Probus clubs are organizations for men and women who have retired or semi-retired from their profession or business and want to maintain an active and social lifestyle with others who have similar interests. Each Probus club is initially sponsored by a Rotary club or another Probus Club and meets at least once a month to socialize and to hear guest speakers. Today, there are over 400,000 members in approximately 4,000 Probus clubs worldwide.
Probus clubs were first formed, as an acronym for Pro(fessional) and Bus(iness), in England in the mid 1960s and started in Canada in 1987. Probus Clubs worldwide are not service organizations and are non-sectarian and non-political, although members are largely active volunteers in many community organizations. Clubs are formed to provide social events and schedule speakers to keep members up to date with community issues and happenings. Many members have formed smaller interest groups for hobbies and activities such as sports, entertainment, bridge playing, fishing, travel, computers, etc.

Our Club was launched in the Fall of 2017, when we were sponsored by Probus Mountain View. We are a 'combined' Probus club, welcoming men & women. Our membership grew quickly to our present limit of 300. We do maintain a waiting list.
4Seasons Probus meets for monthly meetings on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the New Life Church, 26 Tracey Ln., Collingwood, and are for members only. At the present time (through Covid-19) our meetings are in person, but recordings are created and posted in our newsletters and website.
The annual fee is $40.00 per person. There is also a one-time fee of $15 per person to cover the cost of your official membership badge. If you are interested in joining 4Seasons Probus Club and to get on the wait list, please send your application & waiver forms indicating your interest to our membership chair; Jill Morrison or Dianne Gerstmann.
Below are blank application and waiver forms. Please download and complete the forms and return them to our membership chairs above.
